weakerthans photo test

this is just a test to see if i can get photos to appear in a more stereotypically bloggy fashion. so instead of photos you’ve already seen, here’re some super-hi-quality (cameraphone) pics of one of my favorite bands, The Weakerthans.

Here, for instance, is a shot that actually kind of rocks from their early 2008 show at the Recher Theater in Towson, MD:

And here, if it works, is another photo from the first time I saw them, which was apparently 7/11/06.

you can tell it’s a different phone/camera with that first one.

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen them three times, which would mean I didn’t take a terrible cameraphone photo the middle time. I think the middle time was also at the 9:30 Club in DC (same as ‘06), and it was an early show (which we liked due to the drive and the workin the next day), and we walked in the door to the thrums of the Elk’s Lodge song.
